Installing Windows 8 To Your Virutual Box

• First you should Download and Install the Virtual box to your computer.To download it use the following link

Virtual box (Its free and Open source)

• If you already installed it go ahead and follow the steps below
• Download "Windows 8 Developer Preview" from the following link

Windows 8 Developer preview"

• To start click on the start button on the virtual button to create your Windows 8 box
• Under the "Name" Give the name as you wish (ex: My Windows 8)
• Under the "OS Type"  Give "Microsoft Windows" as "Operating system-" and "Other Windows-" as "Version"
• Click continue
• Under the "Base Memory Size-" Give 2000MB or High
• Click Continue

You will get some prompts and answer for them according to your current situation
At the place you get the "Virtual Disk Location and size"

• specify the Virtual Disk size 20GB or more
• then click Continue

After done these thins before you start new Virtual PC you have to go settings and change the "Video memory" in to 128MB
then start the PC and you have to specify the place you store the windows 8 ISO file to the virtual box to find it

• You will get install windows prompt click next
• Accept the license terms
• then specify the hard disk parameters in the "Where do you want to install windows" prompt
• Click next and windows will install the files and restart the box
• You will get "personalize" prompt to specify your PC name
• You will get "settings" prompt
• Click "Use express settings" or "Customize" it
• It will show you "Preparing your PC"

and

then You will be in your Brand New Windows 8 Desktop

How to Install Windows 7 in to a Virtual Hard Disk (VHD)

This is an easy process.Follow the following steps carefully and reach to the success.. Good Luck

• Boot your computer with Windows 7 DVD and When you prompt the Graphical User Interface to Install the Windows with "install Now" option
• Without clicking "Install Now" Click the "Repair your computer" option at the down left side
• Then you will get the "System Recovery Option"
• In that chose the "Use recovery tools that can help fix problems starting Windows" Option
• Then Click next
• You will get a list of tools on that Click the "Command Prompt"
• You will get the command prompt interface

From here you have to use following commands and at the end of the each command press the enter key to execute the command

• diskpart
• list disk

You can see your hard disk drive in the list

• select disk 0
• create partition primary
• list partition

You can see now your newly created partition

• select partition 1
• assign letter=c
• format fs=ntfs label="data1" quick
• create vdisk file=c:\myvhd.vhd maximum=70000
• attach vdisk

now you have a Virtual Hard disk in side your Physical hard disk with the size of 70 GB (Notice your real had disk should be grater in size than the VHD)

• now close the disk part by typing "exit"
• and type and enter "exit" again to close the command prompt
• Now close your "system recovery option" window
• You will be in the windows installing prompt
• Click the "Install now" option
• Accept the License terms and click next
• then select the "Custom (advanced)" option
• Now you can see your actual primary partition and the Virtual Disk that you created
• select your VHD
• You can see a error message in the down left side that showing "Windows cannot be installed to this disk (show details)
• You should ignore it and select your VHD and click next
• Now windows will install to your computer as a normal installation

How to Install Windows 8 Aero Lite Theme to your Windows 7 PC

Hi friends here again with a new introducing.We all are wating for windows 8 Now.But till it You can give a small look to your Windows 7 PC as Windows 8 by following the steps I mentioned below.Windows 8 have a new visual style call  "Aero Lite Theme" ,Now we are going to install it to our Windows 7 computer.GO ahead and enjoye it.

First you have to go to "System Restore" in your computer and create a System Restore point in the PC to recover your current theame in case of faliure.

Now you have to enable the Third party theame support in your PC to do it download the following theame patcher and install it

Restart the Computer

Now you have to download the "Areo Lite Theme pack" to do that use the following link

Now extract the contents of your downloading file to the "C:\Windows\Resources\Themes folder "

Now Double Click on the Theme file and see the environment of your Windows

Creating a Virtual Hard Disk on Windows 7

We are ging to see how to create a VHD (Virtual Hard Disk) in Windows 7

• Start the Computer Management (start -> Run -> compmgmt.msc)
• Right Click on the Disk Managment
• Select the Create VHD on the list
• You will prompt a dialog box
• In the location text box you can browse and give a place to save the VHD file with any name (Ex:- C:\myhard.vhd )
• Under the Virtual Hard disk Size specify the size for your VHD
• Under the virtual Hard disk format you have two options
• Dynamicaly expanding and Fixed size
• In this case select the fixed size
• Click OK
• Now if you go to the place you save the VHD file you can confirm the creation (C:\myhard.vhd)
• Now go to the disk management in the Computer management
• you can see your new disk with unalocated space (with lifght blue icone)
• Now you can Right click on the left side of the disk and select initialize Disk
• when you Initialize it you have two options as
• MBR and GPT
• In this case select the MBR
• Then Right click on the unalocated space and select Create a simple volume
• You will get a dialog box
• in this step specify the details like size ,Drive ltter,File system and finaly Format it
• after finish these steps you can go Computer and see the disk you created as a normal Disk Drive
• You can use it to store data also to install another operating system even.

Windows 7 පෙන් එකෙන් Install කරන්න

අද අපි ඉගෙන ගන්න යන්නේ වින්ඩොව්ස් සේවෙන් බූට් ඩිස්ක් එකක් පෙන් ද්රිවේ එකකින් හදාගන්නේ කොහොමද කියලෛ

වැඩේ පටන් ගන්න කලින් පහත දේවල් ඔබ සොයා ගත යුතුඉ

• USB flash drive 4GB or higher
• Windows 7 DVD

ඔබ සතුව සියල්ල තිබේ නම් අපි අරඹ කරමු

මුලින්ම ඔබේ පෙන් එකේ ඇති සිල්යල්ල බැකප් කර ගන්න මොකද අපි මුළු පෙන් එකම මේ වැඩේද බවිත කරන්න ඕනේ..


දැන් පෙන් එක ඔබේ පරිගණකයට සම්බන්ද කරන්න

command ප්‍රොම්ප්ට් එකට යන්න  (Start -> Run -> cmd )

 cd\ ලෙස ට්ය්පේ කර enter කරන්න 

දැන් ඔබ ඉන්නේ C:\ drive එකේ  

Disk part එක ඔපෙන් කර ගැනීම සඳහා diskpart ලෙස type කරලා එන්ටෙර් කරන්න

ඔබේ පරිගණකයට සම්බන්ද කර ඇති සියලුම Disk Volume  පිලිබඳ දන ගැනීමට List Volume ලෙස type කර Enter කරන්න

දැන් ඔබට ලැබෙන ලිස්ට් එකෙන් ඔබේ පෙන් එක හඳුනා ගන්න ,,ඔබේ පෙන් එකට අදාල Voluem Number එක වම පස ඇති Coloum එකෙන් බල ගත හැක

ඔබේ පෙන් එකේ Volume Number එක නිවැරදිව හඳුනා ගත පසු එම Volume එක Select කර ගැනීම සඳහා Select Volume (Volume අංකය) ලෙස Type කර Enter කරන්න
 
උදාහරණයක් ලෙස

 දැන් පහත සඳහන් පරිදි සම Commandඑකක් අවසානයේදීම Enter කරමින් ඉදිරියට යන්න

CLEAN

CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY

SELECT PARTITION 1

ACTIVE

FORMAT FS=NTFS

ASSIGN

EXIT

දැන් ඔබේ පෙන් එක වැඩේට ලස්තිය්

Exit ලෙස ට්ය්පේ කර enter කර Command ප්‍රොම්ප්ට් එකෙන් ඉවත් වන්න
දැන් ඔබගේ වින්ඩොව්ස් සෙවන් DVD එක DVD Drive එකට ඇතුල් කොට එහි ඇති සියලුම Folders සහ Files පෙන් එකට Copy  කරගන්න .

දැන් ඔබේ පෙන් එකෙන් ඔබේ පරිගණකයට වින්ඩොව්ස් සෙවන් Install කරගත හැකිය

මතක තබා ගන්න ඔබගේ BIOS වැඩසටහන මගින් BOOT DEVICE එක ලෙස USB ලබා දිය යුතු බව
